Here's how to navigate through the TMDSAS application site to upload a recommendation letter.


1. Create an account or log-in to TMDSAS.


2. If you just created an account, the application site will eventually lead you to where you may request to upload recommendation letters otherwise, on the right panel click SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS >> Letters of Evaluation.

3. Enter your letter writer's information and, as the email address, paste the unique address that PrivateFolio has assigned to that letter.


4. When you are done, click on Save Letter Request.

5. Complete your application.

6. The TMDSAS system will receive this request and confirm that the information is valid, and as soon as this happens (generally 2-3 minutes) you will receive an email notification asking you to approve payment for the upload.


7. Log-in to your PrivateFolio account and click on Payment Required which will be visible in the upper left-hand corner of the page.


8. Click the checkmark to approve payment ($2) using the funds in your account balance. If you don't have funds available, click the credit card icon to pay by credit card.


You're all set! PrivateFolio will upload the letter on your behalf and you will receive a confirmation email when the upload is completed. Most uploads are processed the same day they are approved.
