Private Folio allows users to request for recommendation letters from their colleagues, professors, employers etc. Once the request has been an email will be sent requesting them to upload a recommendation letter to the user's portfolio.
For letter writers, here is how to upload a letter.
1. Once a request has been made by a user, you will receive an invitation to upload a letter through your email.
2. Click on Upload Your Letter when you are ready.
3. A new window will pop-up directing you to our website. You may receive more than one request. Select the letter request you wish to upload a letter to. Click on RESPOND when you are ready to upload.
4. Click on UPLOAD LETTER. Select the file you wish to upload. Please note that you may only upload .pdf, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .doc, .docx, .txt files. The total file size should be less than 2 mb.
5. Once you have uploaded the letter you will have the chance to view your upload or modify it. Be reminded that once you exit this page, you will no longer be able to modify your uploaded reference letter.
5. When you are done you may click on the envelope icon on the upper right hand corner of the page to view other requests or click on the logout button to exit this page.
